KNOW MORE BLUE SILICONE AWARENESS WRISTBAND BRACELETS

One of the original silicone wristbands sold in the United States, People Magazine featured our KNOW MORE wristbands in its magazine in 2004. The magazine suggested to readers that they raise awareness with a very inexpensive but impactful purchase. For that reason, our KNOW MORE blue silicone awareness wristband bracelets were featured as a way to support a loved one or your most important cause. In fact, they are a way to support any cause that hits close to home. Blue rubber wristbands can be worn on their own. Or, if you choose, you can stack multiple colors to support multiple causes at once.

WRISTBANDS SINCE 2004

Silicone awareness wristbands burst on the worldwide scene in 2004. They were and continue to be a modern take on the classic awareness ribbon symbol. Within a year just about everyone was wearing a rubber bracelet. In 2004, Personalized Cause received hundreds of requests to create cause wristbands for individuals and corporations. Using them, many hoped to raise awareness and funds for a variety of causes. For this reason, our wristband bracelets were created in a multitude of colors which emphasized a multitude of meanings.

Personalized Cause coordinates its pins, ribbons and wristbands so that it is easy to move from wearing an awareness ribbon in one color to a rubber bracelet in the same or another color. This allows for a variety of awareness products at different price points. Fundraising with a variety of items helps to generate funds for awareness campaigns and to adjust your budget as necessary.

HOW DID THE AWARENESS WRISTBAND GET STARTED?

Gel bracelets, or jelly bracelets, are a type of wristband often made from silicone.
These gel or rubber bracelets are stretchy and come in a variety of colors. Awareness bracelet wristbands carry messages demonstrating the wearer’s support of a cause or charitable organization. In the early 1990’s, the awareness wristband found its way into the mainstream awareness movement with the Lance Armstrong Livestrong bracelet.

The silicone wristband first became popular in 2004 with the Livestrong yellow band which was established by American cyclist Lance Armstrong to raise awareness of cancer. Livestrong bracelets were a modern take on the classic awareness ribbon symbol. Yellow Livestrong wristbands gained popularity and within a year just about everyone was wearing one. The Livestrong bracelet raised money for cancer charities.

CHARITY AWARENESS WRISTBANDS

In 2004, Personalized Cause was inundated with requests to create cause wristbands for individuals and corporations. That became the impetus behind our KNOW MORE® wristbands and large color variety. Personalized Cause color-coordinated its new awareness wristbands with its pins and ribbons so that it was easy to move from wearing an awareness ribbon in one color to a rubber bracelet in the same.

The wristbands, in the earlier days, were often seen by young people as trendier than traditional charity pins. The wristbands also became a popular tool used in fundraising. The majority of money generated from the sale of fundraising wristbands usually goes towards the charity or cause involved.

THE KNOW MORE® WRISTBAND

Featured in People® Magazine early in the wristband craze alongside the Livestrong wristband, our KNOW MORE® silicone awareness wristband bracelets became known as a casual, stylish, and comfortable way to support your cause. Personalized Cause encouraged wearers to focus on their own cause or stack several bracelets to support multiple causes at once.

KNOW MORE® – A PLAY ON WORDS!

Our slogan is about awareness, education, and advocacy, encouraging you and others to KNOW MORE about a cause that has meaning to you. Simultaneously, we are saying NO MORE when advocating for a cure or social change. KNOW MORE to create a world where there is NO MORE. This bracelet was used at the Race for the Cure® in Orange County, California, and at many other races and walks throughout the country.

With a KNOW MORE® silicone awareness bracelet, you can become an advocate for cancer prevention, disease awareness, and social issues. These inexpensive yet durable rubber bracelets raise awareness and support others in a simple, yet meaningful way. Awareness wristbands are perfect for fundraising events, awareness campaigns, promotional products, company charity events, medical offices, cancer races, marathons, team events, fun runs, and much more.
